Reap Lights, stairway corridor of the UICA, 2014.
I was presented with the tall corridor above the stairs at the UICA, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Reap lights were a part of a group show featuring a variety of artists. I filled the airy space with light and warm wood tones to humanize the space. The view when they were lit at night was quite striking. The lights are made from walnut, cherry and maple, painted and used LED bulbs.
